“Celebrating the beauty and texture of life for Vic’s 40th birthday.”

In uncertain times, 20 girlfriends gathered to celebrate an adored art-loving friend’s milestone birthday. Champagne on arrival set the celebratory scene. A surprise presentation of personalised artists’ dungarees invited guests to awaken their creative beings. A curated room with abstract art and still-life vignettes of terracotta-toned florals and fruits juxtaposed by the movement and texture of muslin and lace drapery gave endless inspiration to our artists. With much frivolity and glorious mess, our guests indulged their creative passions, turning blank canvases into an expression of beauty and a reflection of life’s texture. Following their bespoke art exploration, guests moved to a sumptuous table overflowing with beauty, adorned with florals, intricate dinnerware, delicate cut crystal and heartfelt handmade details. As they broke bread, not an eye was dry as each lovingly shared their affection for the guest of honour. Words of love, friendship, and happiness were exchanged. The celebrations continued as guests danced pure joy into the wee hours. As they floated home, each carried in their hands and hearts a precious piece of art celebrating the true meaning of friendship and forever capturing a precious “still-life” moment.
